It is a favorite in Indian kitchens, be it adrak wali chai, ginger is being used in almost every dishes. It is also a great antidote for cold, cough and headache.
We Indians are no strangers to this amazing spice. Let’s understand how ginger plays a role in promoting hair growth:
1. Preventing Hair Loss
If a woman gets the solution for hair loss, then she’ll clearly emerge as a winner. A fresh ginger root contains magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and vitamins that provide the hair follicles with nourishment. Thus making them strong and preventing hair loss.
2. Controls Dandruff
Dandruff is the second worst thing causing havoc to the health of the hair. The dead skin cells in dandruff clog the follicles, propagating hair loss. The antimicrobial properties of ginger control dandruff and eventually curbs hair loss.
3. Fights Dryness Off
Too much dryness causes the hair to become brittle and thus lead to breakage. Ginger has the potential to act as a natural conditioner for the hair and the scalp. Thus, it keeps the dryness at bay and restores moisture to the hair.
4. Improved Blood Flow
Ginger contains an active ingredient called gingerol, which helps in relaxing blood vessels. This improves the blood circulation and nourishes hair follicles, thus causing faster hair growth.
5. One Stop Solution
Ginger has antiseptic properties, and it is loaded with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that take care of everything. Right from itchy scalp to split ends, the spice is a natural solution to all your hair problems.
6. Fatty Acids
Ginger is a good source of essential fatty acids, one such fatty acid is known as linoleic acid. It helps in nourishing the hair, prevents thinning and eventually keeping the hair healthy.
